about

In a poisonous state, I needed a remedy, and then a mysterious woman approached and offered it to me

Lake within, Earth Without. The abundance of Lake in the position of support with the softness of earth in the position of leadership. The accumulation of water approaches the top of the soil and offers its great abundance to the earth. In the I Ching this situation is called approaching.

In his time of need, Wudang Funk notices a mysterious equestrian approaching in the distance. She bears the remedy, and approaches to offer it to him. Receptive, Wudang Funk accepts and opens his eyes. The acid is a metaphor. The abundance of vision, and the openness to accept it and the situation of how this approach happens is how it relates to the I Ching. Obviously there is nothing about acid in the I Ching itself. The I Ching can be used to read all stories. This is just a story that I wrote that happens to follow the order of the I Ching to illustrate the great cycle of the 64. For the sake of The LP Ching being The I Ching told thru the lens of sex, drugs and rock and roll, however, it literally happens. Wudang Funk accepts and takes the acid...

lyrics

Who is that approaching us upon the mountainside?
Who is this mysterious one and from where does she ride?

Who are you approaching us upon the mountainside?
Hey you there mysterious one tell me from where do you ride?

Then she said
Drop the acid in your eye
Let it serve you as your guide
If you want to see what you could really be drop the acid in your eye!
