When things reach their extreme, they alter to their opposite. Arms open wide, longing for love, suddenly I found myself at the foot of a dam, and I heard it crack.
Wood within, Lake without. The firmness of the wood is not quite strong enough to support the abundance of the lake. Water builds up, it begins to seep through. The dam is about to break. The I Ching calls this Hexagram Great Exceeding. If you look at the lines of the Hexagram, it looks like something that is built up and about to burst.
It became apparent that something was built up, something that could no longer be contained. A great pent up frustration. A mega culmination. It was only a matter of time before the dam would burst.
I edged myself as a part of the process of writing this song.
lyrics
A mega culmination
Is what we have in store
A great pent up frustration
One that we can't ignore
It's all been built up so much
The gates are gonna blow
Its gonna crack wide open
I thought that you should know
Mega culmination
Gates about to blow
A great pent up frustration
I thought you should know
