After we found union we began to collect, to gather a little bit for ourselves.
"Little accumulation" is the name of this Hexagram. It is Heaven within, Wood without. The pure yang energy below follows the gentle but firm energy of wood. This is a situation where there is something that is beginning to gather, or accumulate.
For the song I wasn't sure what to write so I pulled the lyrics directly from lines in this part of the I Ching for the most literal, vague display of the concept. When I wrote the bass riff, I liked it slow and I liked it fast, I asked my sister what she thought and she liked them both too, so I thought "why not both?" Then later it occurred to me that the tempo gradually increasing gave the song a sense of building and accumulating as well, which is perfect for illustrating this concept.

Gathering a little bit now for us
Storing up a little bit now
Gathering a little bit now for us
Storing up a little bit now
'Ey would you

'Ey would you want a little bit?
Building up a little bit now for us
Building up a little bit now
Building up a little bit now for us
Gathering a little bit now
'Djoo get a
'Djoo get a
'Djoo get a get a little bit?
“Sauropoda” defies description; one minute it’s funneling the sound of Afrobeat through synths, the next it’s floating off into space. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 28, 2019
