Flailing into the sea of people I found one with whom I found union.

The hexagram here is Earth within, Water without. Here the receptive earth is lead by the currents of water. In my I Ching this is called "Union." Earth is soft, Water flows. This is a situation of bonding, a relaxed and gentle connection. There is a sense of union.

I chose to write the song with the idea of romantic union. The hexagram can apply to other types of union, but romance seemed to hit home and get the point of the feeling across. The lyrics are about the way that I felt when I would lie in bed next to my ex girlfriend.
